If you’ve wondered why half the frosty hybrids of the last 15 years have “White” in the name — White Fire OG, White Tahoe Cookies, White Walker, White Truffle — almost all of them trace back to one cut. Krome’s The White.

Nobody knows the actual lineage. Krome originally passed her around as “Triangle,” which had everyone assuming Triangle Kush. It wasn’t. Once that confusion shook out, the name “The White” stuck — partly because the lineage was a mystery, partly because nothing else on the planet looks like her. Finished flower comes out looking dipped in powdered sugar.

These are S1s — selfed seeds of Krome’s original cut. The closest you’ll get to the clone in seed form. You’ll see variation across a pack, that’s how S1s work, and that’s where the pheno hunt lives. Run them and there’s a real shot at pulling a keeper that throws the same blanket of frost the mother does.

She was never a loud-nose strain — mild earth, dry hash, a touch of lemon, a hint of cream in the back. The high makes up for it. Heavy, clean, sedative without being muddled. Pain relief, night use, end-of-the-day kind of high.
